Are they still a thing?
Have they become a parody of themselves yet?

Having been briefly in the frame for mastering Shpongle's upcoming album, I have it here (albeit unmastered). Musically, I really like it.
their last sounded a little tired i thought (a bit half hearted perhaps) but it had some really nice tekky moments
tales of the inexpressible is my fav and though i thought nothing lasts was incredibly inventive and bursting with life, very celebratory
Any ideas when the album is out?
I don't think there will be much full band gigs. I heard it costs close to 100k to get them all together

their first album is by far the best, imo.

i honestly don't get why people think it is, it's very good for sure but i always thought the tales of the inexpressible was really the magical flowering and that the first album was a formative prelude to it
as my mum says, "it's only my opinion, but it's the right one"
Though technically inferior in production terms to Tales of the Inexpressible, the first Shpongle album retains a loyal following. Discuss.
ideas come first.
Production is the thing you worry about when you start running out of ideas
