this is yet another appeal for a track by Wizzy Noise
    its a long shot...
although wizzy noises website doesnt seem to be on any more, it used to have a video of them playing in Capetown, i think it was. it started off with this really cool track, i'm sure it had alot of live trickery, but it had like a warping LFO, which started really really slow then speeded up and... well i wont describe the track too much, if anyone knows what the first track off the wizzy noise video on their old website was then please post it here!
    n all that

Um. Totally ridiculous, don't suppose anybody has any playlists from the Sonica festival in Italy? I heard a choon on the saturday night so good that a tiny sample is stored in my head for safekeeping, but it had no samples. I will be looking forever  I don't even know what dj it was.

    How screwed am I !

Ok here we go, if anyone can help me I'll appreciate this so much. Bascially theres this tune, kept hearing it at sonica and glade too i think and its so lovely.

However, the only way I can describe it is that there is a female vocal basically going
woooooo - ooooo and its gated (that is little gaps put in it to make it stutter.
its melodic full on. and its SO good, someone must know it

This tune was being caned at sonica and as i already knew it there i must've heard it at other parties too

    can anyone help please ?!

This was played by a guy in an Alchemy Records hoodie in the morning at Viva La Weaver on Saturday. It's kinda full on ish, the sample says something like "these free radicals may have profound implications in the search for the soul". Apparently there's an old Psychaos tune called "Free Radical", but this didn't sound that old... and it sounded kind of South African maybe?

(Update: the DJ was actually Shane Gobi. Explains why he was so rinsing...)

Ok, theres 2 tunes that i NEEEED!

1st ones got a sample in it that goes something like..."runnings through my braaaiiin" then it kicks in doof doof doof.

The other ones got another sample this time its a cheeky rap type thing talking about party toy or something like that and it says something about bitch.

Both tunes were played at Sonica and both were played by Shane at the weekend. Didnt see him to ask tho.

    Thanks in advance!

Hah goa_kev, I noted the second one you're talking about too - found out what it was - at least the original track is Switch by Beckers. I've heard this tune is proggy though, and the one I heard seemed pretty full on - so it might be a remix? I've heard that there's a Wrecked Machines vs. Pixel remix but I think it's unreleased. But Gobi would have access to unreleased killaaaas, no?

could that be 'dizzy drops' by Dickster, on the Reefer Madness compilation... has a sample 'liquid in my brain, liquid in my brain' etc. then goes 'still dizzy, still dizzy' and drops monumentally...
