That Glenn Wilson tune is called "AK-47", and it's on one of Mark Tyler's labels, maybe Re-Entry?
If you heard it at implosion could have been an unreleased track by someone i know by name of Amorphous - has a lot of samples from that episode, 142bpm, veering towards tech-trance - pm me if u want a copy to check
its an old platipus tune .... there will be no armageddon ???? i think ....
Astrix vs Dimitri - EVOC
On Unusual Suspects 2 comp from Solstice Records ....
OK, it has the sample "Fee-eeling ann Indiann starrr".
bout '96, '97
and this bassline: dur-duh. dur-duh-dur. dur-dur-duh.-dur-duh-dur-dur-dur...
lookin for the tune with the voice sample Ãn an american southern accent ´now i know u boys were crazy but i didnt know he´d done that!" (or very similar sentence)
If this triggers anything out there and i can trace back a title I will be a very happy man, nothing comparable, though, to what´s going to be to finally pump the track out of some nice speakers.
Thank you very much people, and thank you alex for inducing this into happening
well thats fookin bizarre... just listened to "astrix vs dimitri - evox" on "full on 7" which has the 'become yourself, become yourself, become yourself' vocal sample, and decided to ask on here what tune originally had that vocal sample...
dunno if its even psytrance but theres no way astrix did that first, i heard that vocal years ago!
<waits for someone to tell me its an old astrix track...>
whoops... that was actually supposed to be posted from me :green:
sorry megan :irazz:
hi can we post a track snippet (not long) up here or will i be done by the muzic poliz
It's on this quarters issue of Revolve magazine's free Cd track 5. But it's also from a more popular and established psy artist like Dark Soho or something.
Goes like this 'Everynight the same dream. Dreams that are not my own, of a planet I've never been too, but why, what does it mean........I've now conquered that fear but will I be in time to save the earth?' It's a female voice.
What's it from please.
Ok guys, who made the remixes currently doing the rounds, of
eurythmics "sweet dreams are made of this"
Opus 3 "its a fine day"
i'm not sure, but 'Strange Planet' by Silicon Sound possibly has the same sample.
Time Capsule Collection Dub track - do u know this track...
I am trying to find a DUB track from about 7 years ago. I had it on Time Capsule Collection which was techno/gabba/trance/ambi-dub CD compilation.
The Cd got stolen ages ago but I have been trying to find an amazing dub track that was at the end of disc 1 I think.
It had a really amazing floaty feel, quite technoey, with a really euphoric synth line that came in towards the end.
If anyone remembers it and knows where to get hold of it PLEASE contact me!
anyone know the track with this vox sample:
'if we can steal one of their ships we'll be able to get through without being detected'
I was told it was on the new bliss album 'rhythmus...' but i cant hear it on there & to be honest i find this album a bit annoying cos bits of tracks i love & then they go a bit 2 cheesy 4 me... so i have to put it in logic n edit out all the bits i don't like...
yeah i heard this at a tribe of frog party last year at the rocket, during a live set... anyone remember who played live there???
Does anyone know the second tune on the sephira - lucid dreaming mix is? Sounds like its being played on a harp.
I've been after a tune ever since I heard it NYE 04/05 at Tribeadelic in Australia. It was Lunar Orbit playing as far as I can rememeber but he wasn't able to tell me/remember when I e-mailed him shortly after. Anyway it was Digital Psionics style of tune. There was a loud noise in the build up in the break and it then dropped with 3 kicks for every beat. So like:
ddd,ddd,ddd,ddd (=4 beats)
Was really full on, dark psy trance, just unable to find it, I know it's a pretty vague description too!
The track you're looking for is called Texas thc by Liquid. Its on the future shock compilation
got a few actually if anyone knows them. I heard these at the transient records party on friday if anyoen else was at that.
1-it has a sample saying "religion is important whether it is a book, church or a spiritual experience"
2-has a sample saying acid, acid acid, repeated a few times.
3-was like a psy remix of some happy hardcore song i heard years ago. Says "All I really want is you"
Yeaah.. one tune i was looking for ... remember hearing it last NYE
The best description i can give is of it having a massive massive scream of about a minute building up before the drop...
that's all i can remember from it... but a rising scream for about a minute
anyone know it haha (sorry for vagueness)
Separate names with a comma.
